(Fix: Minecarts were entering the crafter because that line lacked a dedicated item filter. Added the filter, and it now works 100%.) — Jul 8, 2026
Late-game Technical Survival Multi-Functional Basalt Farm
-Basalt Farm: Produces 1,728 basalt every 4 minutes (25,920 per hour). However, it wasnt designed for continuous bulk storage. Instead, its goal is to always keep a fully loaded shulker box of basalt ready to use. It also features an optional autocrafter that diverts half of the output to craft Polished Basalt, producing one shulker box every 8 minutes.
-Shulker Loader: Each shulker box takes 8 minutes to fill. Once full, it is automatically broken and sent up to the Shulker Display.
-Shulker Display: Whenever the displayed shulker box is completely emptied, it is automatically replaced with another fully loaded shulker box containing the corresponding material.
-Polished Basalt Autocrafter: Half of the farms output is routed into an autocrafter to convert it into Polished Basalt, allowing the farm to produce one shulker box of Basalt and one shulker box of Polished Basalt every 8 minutes.
Without the autocrafter line enabled, the farm fills one shulker box in just 4 minutes.
The farm will automatically turn on for 2 minutes and 8 seconds whenever the basalt supply starts running low (specifically when only 3 basalt shulker boxes remain in the dispenser). This is enough time to replenish the stock, since the hopper minecarts always lag slightly behind the farms production.
Note: All chests, shulker boxes, and hoppers will be empty when you download the schematic. It is recommended to place 2 empty shulker boxes in the loading barrels before starting the farm. Likewise, the Shulker Display must be manually stocked with full shulker boxes. This is because the schematic was saved with inventory contents ignored.
Note 2: Dont forget to place 5 stacks of items in the hopper clock below. This sets the farms runtime to exactly 2 minutes and 8 seconds, preventing any production loss.
Note 3: The hopper minecarts include a filter system and are self-refilling. However, when you download the schematic, their storage will be empty, so please make sure to manually refill them, as all deposit containers will be empty by default.
