Fully Automatic Wool Farm for Mid-Game Technical Survival
Features
- 4 Sheep Chambers
- Automatic Shulker Loader
- Shears Refill Barrel
- Empty Shulker Refill Barrel
How It Works
This farm is fully automatic. Simply place one sheep inside each of the four chambers. Every time a sheep eats grass, it regrows its wool and is automatically sheared. The grass also regenerates on its own, allowing the farm to run continuously without player intervention.
All collected wool is automatically sent to the Shulker Loader. Once a shulker box is full, it is transferred to the storage barrel on the left.
In front of the system, you'll find a barrel where you can insert empty shulker boxes to be refilled automatically. Another barrel on the right is used to refill the shears.
A redstone lamp indicates the shears' supply. When the lamp turns off, it's time to refill the shears.
This farm is designed to produce a single wool color, maximizing the storage capacity of each shulker box. If you need multiple colors, it's recommended to build separate modules for each color or dye the wool after collection.
Notes
Note 1: Only add enough shears to keep the redstone lamp on. Adding more than necessary will cause the droppers to remain active until the excess shears have been used.
Note 2: Use sheep of the same color only, as the farm does not include an item-sorting system. Mixing different wool colors will still work, but your shulker boxes won't be filled with a single wool type. For the most efficient multi-color production, build a separate module for each wool color.
Note 3: It is highly recommended to build and test the farm in a separate Creative world before constructing it in your Survival world.
